Day 27: Customers Houses: A Glimpse of Flying Cloud

You may remember  my blog on Monet's island home which her friend Bob landscaped with her.

Well now they are sharing a sim and are much better friends and have really gone to town with their skills and talents in their new home: Flying Cloud..

Bob asked us to customise a build for them and to site it on the top of a mountain.

We used a modular approach and Bob and Monet decided that three units  would meet their needs.

No matter where  you cam around the build is in a magnificent setting

These shots of the living room..............

....and dining room....

...show off  Monet's unerring sense of colour....

......and design.

Bob meanwhile...............

....surpassed himself..............

.......with the landscaping.

We  put in a sunken fish pond in the dance area.....

You wont fall in as it has a glass cover.

When you have  out danced yourself you can relax in the bar across the lobby...........

There are many little touches of detail, like these cypressas.......

................the textures...........

.....hanging plants.....

... cosy fires.....

... and imaginative planting.

I have shown you four out of the six rooms.........it is the private  quarters  that I have omitted......well everyone is entitled to a little privacy.... even in SL!
Thanks for sharing Bob and Monet.... x

Day 26: Just for Toby

Well its a year today since I met  you Toby in the Juke Joint so here are a few reasons to stick around for another year!

We both love dancing

.......at different venues...

and in different styles

We love art and exhibition openings....

This was Orsini's...

...and this was our own 'Twins'.

We have lots of interests in common......

....some are cultural....

....some are  spiritual..........

....and some are just essential.

You like to hang out with me...... whether we are working....

or relaxing at home.

Oh... and I think you like kissing me hello

and goodbye............!

Finally..............we both love shopping ( mostly for me)!

Day 25: Midsomer House

Welcome to Midsomer House the perfect English Country Home.

You will love the Yorkshire Stone.....

.......and the overhanging vines.

Just inside the front door  you will find a typical mud room..........

..........for it is England and it WILL be raining........

...very handy for  hanging up your umbrella and wiping the dogs' paws.

The cosy faimily area is suitable for dining...................

..with plenty of space for the you, your partner, your visitors and the dogs.

The formal drawing room is so spacious....................

...that you can include several sofas AND a grand piano.

Upstairs you will find a tranquil space .................

..with areas for sleeping and bathing....

...or just relaxing!

As dusk approaches the lights will come on.................

...and keep you safe whilst you sleep.

Come and see for yourself?

Day 24: Customers Houses (Joreamma, DniMarie and Roxy)

Welcome to another chance to see how our customers use their purchases from us.
This post shows three different approaches.

This exquisite bijoux residence in the sky is the home of Joreamma Etzel and it shows how well a  small space can be made into a delightful haven.

The cottage Joreamma bought is a Kilorglin and the front door opens into a cosy dining kitchen

..and you walk straight through into a relaxing seating area with a sofa and daybed.

Here she is standing by her desk where she works in comfort.

Our next customer has become a good friend. DniMarie Timeless has created (she says all the credit goes to her partner Gonath) the most creatively landscaped setting for her Atlanctic Beach cottage.

The spacious deck looks over the sea at the rear.............

....and is reached by crossing a sheltered inlet at the front

The front conservatory ensures that the cottage is full of light all day long.............

Here is DniMarie arriving home via one of our bridges.

Roxy Topaz is a co-owner of this magnificent sim which she has landscaped to create an enchanting and secluded forest full of secret spaces.

Roxy used our 30m tree screens to shield her castle from prying eyes.

She obviously loved the landscaping section as she uses this swing to enjoy her domain....

... and the Adirondack chairs to relax and chat.

Thanks to all our customers for inviting us to see  their creativity and design skills.
