Day 30: Worlds End

ArchiTech Designs has recently opened a new section called Vampire Heaven for vampires, ghouls, the enchanted, witches and wizards and those interested in the dark arts.

World's End is a new neo-gothic build for those who don't want to live in a dusty castle.

The textures are unique to ArchiTech Design and make the dark experience a bit different to the stereotypical approach.

These doors creak as they open and blend in perfectly with the ruined landscape littered with neglected gravestones and overgrown brambles that adorns the outer shell.

The ground floor has a universe theme featuring planets and stars and is separated into three living areas. The large front entrance area is suitable for entertaining and relaxing......

.........and is watched over by a a glowing red demon pentacle ......

The right hand private area houses a two person coffin with a closable lid ....

.....and is ideal for whiling away the daylight hours with a close friend or partner.

Whilst the left hand private area has a bed for  a different kind of resting with a loved companion.

The top floor has a transparent glass roof which is open to the stars. The red demon pentacle dorms the floor and makes it the ideal location for ceremonies, clan meetings and celebrations.

Of course  you don't have  to be involved in the dark arts to love this build! View World's End in-world (and don't forget to pick up your free bat generator) at:-

Day 29: Flock

This is another of my 512 parcel homes

It covers the typical 512 shape  and only uses 26 prims of the 117 allowance.

The ground floor has a large outdoor space and gives this large  internal room.

The internal view has these lovely trees and is semi-transparent

The first floor is a 32m x 16m space set out like a gallery with divisions for different areas

It makes a really lovely home on a small parcel

Flock lets you use all the space you have whilst maintaining plenty of oustide use.

....the roof terrace provides even more outside space.....

Day 28: Malachite

Well, after we made 'Lapis', I got the bug for unusual houses with interesting textures so I built Malachite.

So I got a kind of green vision with insects.....

and butterflies.

I like the beetle doors.

and the bird wing butterflies.

The spiral staircase is a Toby masterpiece (well I still need some help).

Here is the ubiquitous roof terrace.

I thought it had a hint of enchantment......

...and might nestle in a secret forest!

Try it out for yourself:

Day 27: Customers Houses: A Glimpse of Flying Cloud

You may remember  my blog on Monet's island home which her friend Bob landscaped with her.

Well now they are sharing a sim and are much better friends and have really gone to town with their skills and talents in their new home: Flying Cloud..

Bob asked us to customise a build for them and to site it on the top of a mountain.

We used a modular approach and Bob and Monet decided that three units  would meet their needs.

No matter where  you cam around the build is in a magnificent setting

These shots of the living room..............

....and dining room....

...show off  Monet's unerring sense of colour....

......and design.

Bob meanwhile...............

....surpassed himself..............

.......with the landscaping.

We  put in a sunken fish pond in the dance area.....

You wont fall in as it has a glass cover.

When you have  out danced yourself you can relax in the bar across the lobby...........

There are many little touches of detail, like these cypressas.......

................the textures...........

.....hanging plants.....

... cosy fires.....

... and imaginative planting.

I have shown you four out of the six rooms.........it is the private  quarters  that I have omitted......well everyone is entitled to a little privacy.... even in SL!
Thanks for sharing Bob and Monet.... x

Day 26: Just for Toby

Well its a year today since I met  you Toby in the Juke Joint so here are a few reasons to stick around for another year!

We both love dancing

.......at different venues...

and in different styles

We love art and exhibition openings....

This was Orsini's...

...and this was our own 'Twins'.

We have lots of interests in common......

....some are cultural....

....some are  spiritual..........

....and some are just essential.

You like to hang out with me...... whether we are working....

or relaxing at home.

Oh... and I think you like kissing me hello

and goodbye............!

Finally..............we both love shopping ( mostly for me)!
