Day 14: Ronin1 Shippe: Minimalistic / Impressionistic Landscapes

Fabilene Cortes is proud to curate an exhibition by Ronin1 Shippe. Please see her notecard sent to the Crossworld's group yesterday on which I cannot improve:

Ronin1 Shippe is an SL painter who is well-known inworld for his combination of impressionist and minimalist styles, in a way that creates simple and yet haunting imagery that connects the observer with his or her own memories.

The scope of Ronin's work encompasses abstracts, whimsy, and landscape and consists of hundreds of works. Today we are presenting some of his minimalist/
impressionist landscapes. for your artistic enjoyment.

I was lucky enough to get a chance to talk to Ronin aboutthe influences of his art and he confirmed his admiration for Japanese prints. The hard edged woodcut approach is notable in a number of his works, especially those  such as Soaring Eagle and Hoikadu

Destiny Xonfor and Troy Opaque

I managed to get a dance with Toby

Robert had us all terrified with his threats to eat us.

All of Ronin's works are priced keenly which makes his art accessible to as many individuals as possible. My advice is to buy two or three and hang them together like a dyptich or tryptich as they look fabulous. This works especially well if you bear colour in mind which is more of an interior designer's tip than an art critics so please forgive me Ronin.
